​Nalgonda: The police department is taking all security measures for the forthcoming Krishna Pushkarams, scheduled to begin from August 12, said DIG Nagi Reddy.
Along with Miryalaguda DSP Ramgopal Rao, he examined the ongoing works of Pushkar ghats at Mattampally on Friday. He had darshan of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at Mattampally temple.
Later interacting with the media, he expressed confidence on completing the ghat works as per schedule. The department is planning to depute 15,000 police personnel at various ghats in the district for the safety of devotees during Pushkarams. About 1,000 cops will render services at Mattampally Pushkar ghats on this occasion.
After completion of Pushkar ghat works, the police department would conduct an aerial survey to depute the force in a proper way to make Krishna Pushakarams a grand success. Huzurnagar CI Narsimha Reddy, Mattampally SI Ramesh Naidu and others accompanied the DIG during the inspection.
