YSR Congress party has decided to take a stand against manipulative measures of AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for luring MLAs from other parties in an undemocratic way and is set to move a private bill in Rajya Sabha during the monsoon session of the Parliament.

The YSR Congress Parliamentary Party meeting was held on Saturday at the party office at Lotus Pond in Hyderabad where party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met with party's MPs and discussed the issues and agenda for the ensuing monsoon session that is beginning from Monday.

In the meet, they concluded that YSRCP Rajya Sabha member Vijaya Sai Reddy will move the private bill seeking amendments in anti-defection law.

Earlier, Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu too had expressed the need to strengthen the anti-defection law and YSRCP are now calling for an ordinance to that effect to be passed in order to safeguard Parliamentary democracy.
