YSRCP MLAs, ZPTCs stage walk-out from ZP meeting
YSRCP Palakonda and Rajam MLAs V Kalavathi and K Jogulu staged a walk-out from the Zilla Parishad general body meeting here on Saturday, along with their ZPTCs and MPPs, in protest against the ruling TDP leaders’ unilateral approach towards public issues.

After commencement of Zilla Parishad meeting, the MLAs alleged irregularities in implementation of welfare schemes.
They took pot shots at the Janmabhumi Committees for sidelining the YSRCP followers across the district. But the Minister for Labour and Employment K Atchannaidu, Government Whip K Ravi Kumar and Zilla Parishad Chairperson Ch Dhanalaxmi did not respond. However, the YSRCP MLAs continued their protest in the meeting, along with their party ZPTCs and MPPs, and demanded transparency in selection of beneficiaries.
They also raised slogans against the Janmabhoomi Committees alleging that the committees are filled with TDP men and demanded for their cancellation.
