Facilities for devotees at Pushkara Nagars: Collector

Vijayawada: District Collector Babu A has said that the Puskara Nagars will be made as platforms for devotees with sufficient facilities and services during Pushkaralu. In press release on Sunday, Collector said the district administration would arrange 36 Pushkar Nagars in the district as part of Krishna Pushkaralu and of which 20 Pushkar Nagars would be set up in Vijayawada city.

“We are planning to make arrangements in every Pushkara Nagar to facilitate accommodation for about one thousand to five thousand devotees. Electricity facility, fans, toilets, water facility, drinking water, food supply, milk for children, ticket booking counters for trains and buses and other facilities would be provided. The devotees could take bath without any trouble” he said.

The APSRTC would arrange buses for Pushkara Nagars for every three minutes and mini buses also would be arranged, the Collector said. Railway department was also going to arrange three satellite stations at Ramavarppadu, Gunadala, Madhuranagar, Rayanapadu and Krishna Canal Junction in addition to main station in the city. Besides, 700 trains would be run to Vijayawada from various parts of the country and special ticket counters would also be made available.
