Vijayawada: Members of Inner Wheel Club of Vijayawada Mid Town on Wednesday participated in the city beautification campaign for Krishna Pushkaralu. They gave a fresh coat of paint to the boundary wall of Nirmal Hriday Bhavan on Mahatma Gandhi Road.
Speaking on the occasion, club president K Sridevi and secretary D Suchitra said that they spent Rs 22,000 on painting of the wall. As many as 27 members of the club took part in the beautification campaign. The club would come up with several programmes to serve pilgrims during Krishna Pushkaralu, they said.
