Faculty development vital to raise education standards
A faculty development programme on `Instructional Design and Delivery System’ began at SRK Institute of Technology, Enikepadu, on Tuesday.
A faculty development programme on `Instructional Design and Delivery System’ began at SRK Institute of Technology, Enikepadu, on Tuesday. The SRK Foundation, in collaboration with the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR), Chennai, is organising the five-day programme for the teaching staff of educational institutions run by it.
Speaking after inaugurating the programme, B Mukhopadhyay, former Head of Department of Educational Management and Applied Psychology, NITTTR, and visiting professor of University of Madras, said the faculty should constantly update their knowledge and teaching skills to impart quality education to students.
Prof CR Nagendra Rao of NITTTR, SRK Foundation chairman BS Appa Rao, secretary BS Sri Krishna, college principals K Bala Showry, P Venkateshwar, K Padmalatha and P Subbaiah, programme coordinator S Sri Gowri and others were present.
