The children were given a presentation on the significance of nature, its impact on human community,  ecological equilibrium , importance of  forest wild life , details of wide life  available in Coringa Wild  Life  Sanctuary and  importance of  Mada  forest and its impact  on the environment. 

Kakinada: Seventy students of Sri Vivekananda School of Chollangi in Tallarrevu mandal were taken to the Coringa Wild Life Sanctuary and Mada Forest, in the district, as part of the Vanam-Manam programme on Saturday.

The children were given a presentation on the significance of nature, its impact on human community, ecological equilibrium , importance of forest wild life , details of wide life available in Coringa Wild Life Sanctuary and importance of Mada forest and its impact on the environment.

DFO, social forestry AVS RK Alpena, forest range officer Murali Krishna, wild life ranger Sunil and other department staff accompanied the children. The children experienced eco-walk at the Congrina mangroves after which they were administered a pledge to protect the environment.
