The rural police arrested a person and seized around 610 kgs of ganja from him which he tried to transport in a van at Dondapadu village limits under Kothakota mandal on Tuesday. The arrested was identified as G Chittibabu (25), a resident of Makavarapalem area of Narsipatnam region.
Visakhapatnam: The rural police arrested a person and seized around 610 kgs of ganja from him which he tried to transport in a van at Dondapadu village limits under Kothakota mandal on Tuesday. The arrested was identified as G Chittibabu (25), a resident of Makavarapalem area of Narsipatnam region.
Kothakota Sub-Inspector Shekaram said the accused along with three other persons procured ganja from interior areas of Chintapalle region and was trying to shift it to Anakapalle.
Chittibabu stuffed the 610 kg ganja in 24 gunny bags.
