Amaravati: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu asked the bankers to work with better coordination in next 20 days in December to overcome the problems from big notes ban.
Reviewing the situation with bankers from his residence at Undavalli,here on Wednesday, Naidu said the State had successfully sorted out the problem by implementing cashless transactions in the first week.

He stressed the need for increasing the cashless transactions and government could overcome the problem in next month completely. Working with innovative thoughts only could give better results, he added.
The Chief Minister asked the people to use AP Purse app to carry out their financial transactions and termed it the gateway to mobile banking.
He said Rs 3,500 would be paid by the State government to unemployed youth for creating awareness among every 100 people on using mobile banking.
He asked the panchayat secretaries and banking correspondents to visit every house and create awareness on mobile banking. Naidu instructed the officials to setup cyber security cells in all the districts.
He asked the IT officials and bankers to take steps to pay salaries though online for which the process starts from second week of every month.
The officials said that the government had given training to 15,000 people across the State and each of them would train 200 members in mobile and other digital financial transactions. The Chief Minister asked them to complete the training by December 31.
The officials also explained that they had visited Akodara village in Gujarat which has become a model for cashless transactions in the country.
Naidu asked the officials to make it at least one village in mandal and one ward in every town as cashless transaction village and ward. Several officials also participated in the meeting.
