All you need to do is click a picture of the garbage dump or overflowing dustbins and post it on the Swachhata app.

According to the government officials, the citizens only need to take a picture of the complaint they see on the ground and post it through the Swachhata app.

The sanitary inspector should redress the garbage problem within 24 hours after receiving the photo of garbage from across the city.

If this problem is not solved, the same photo will automatically get forwarded to the municipal commissioner; if the problem is not solved within 48-hours, it will go to the higher officials in the municipal administration.

They will take stern action against the officials who fail to clear the garbage immediately.

If the garbage is lifted, the resident is not satisfied, the residents may post their comment in the app. Based on it the GMC will take further action.

People may download the app from the Google play store and take up their sanitation problems with the GMC officials.

Those who visit the NTR Municipal Corporation Stadium may use Wi Fi facility and download the app and solve their problems relating to sanitation.

The Swatchhata survey teams are expected to visit within 10 days to take feedback from them and award marks.

They will enquire whether sanitation workers are regularly visiting the colonies and collecting the garbage from the door steps of the people.

They will also enquire whether they are collecting segregated garbage or not. They will inspect some colonies and assess the sanitation and cleanliness.

Taking the survey teams report into consideration, the GMC has set up flexis, cloth banners and pasted posters and alerted the people and already sought the co-operation of the people to give proper feed back to the teams.

If Guntur city will be listed in the top ten ranks. The GMC will get more funds under the AMRUT Scheme from the Central government.

GMC commissioner S.Nagalakshmi appealed to the people to download the app and send their problems relating to sanitation to the GMC officials directly.
