Jawan of Vizianagaram killed in Jammu

Vizianagaram: An army jawan from Vizianagaram was killed in Jammu and Kashmir. Mamidi Nagaraju of Marudam village in Datti Rajeru mandal of Vizianagaram district was one among those 10 jawans killed when an avalanche hit them in Jammu on Thursday.

Family members of the deceased were shell-shocked after receiving information on his demise on Friday.

Nagaraju was working with the Army for the past seven years and had married Anusha in April 2016. He was on duty, along with other jawans at Jammu, when the avalanche hit them.
