Srikakulam: Temperatures are rising for the last ten days in Srikakulam and people are facing trouble due to heat and suffocation. 12 persons have died so far in the district due to sun stroke during current season. On Monday maximum temperatures were recorded at Palakonda 42, Rajam 41, Amudalavalasa 42, Srikakulam 40 and Itchapuram 40 degrees Celsius. On Sunday maximum temperatures recorded were: Palakonda 41, Rajam 41, Amudalavalasa 41, Srikakulam 39 and at Itchapuram 40 degrees Celsius.
“People need to take care during summer and direct exposure to sun light between 11 am to 3 pm is dangerous. To avoid dehydration water consumption is essential, after noticing symptoms of sunstroke, consuming ORS liquid can prevent
