Ongole: The Prakasam police arrested 14 persons in relation to the twin murders that happened at Vemavaram village in Ballikurava mandal in Prakasam district on May 19.Gorantla Anjaiah and Vegineni Ramakoteswara Rao died. while and three people were injured in the attack by Malempati Venkateswarlu, Gottipati Maruthi Babu, Malempati Lakshminarayana and others. The police registered case under various sections of IPC and Arms Act. The Prakasam district SP Dr CM Trivikrama Varma appointed four teams to investigate the case and arrest the persons involved.
