Amaravati: The state government has sanctioned 63 posts for the procedural works related to the prestigious Amaravati-Anantapur expressway. The government issued orders on Monday sanctioning 60 posts to the five dedicated land acquisition units to be established at Anantapur, Kurnool, Prakasam, Kadapa and Guntur and three posts to the dedicated forest clearance cell to be established at Ongole covering the districts of Kurnool, Anantapur and Prakasam, following the request of Chief Engineer (R&B) NH & CRF, Vijayawada

Services for work of junior assistant, surveyor, record assistant and office subordinate in the land acquisition units will be outsourced

The posts sanctioned to the land acquisition units and dedicated forest clearance cell will be filled on deputation from revenue department and forest departments.The services for work of junior assistant, surveyor, record assistant and office subordinate in the land acquisition units will be outsourced instead of outsourcing persons.

The services for work of surveyor and office subordinate in dedicated forest clearance cell to be established at Ongole will be outsourced, according to the orders. Following the request of Chief Engineer (R&B) NH & CRF, Vijayawada for setting up five dedicated Land Acquisition units at Anantapur, Kurnool, Prakasam,

Kadapa and Guntur and for dedicated forest clearance cell at Ongole covering Kurnool, Anantapur and Prakasam districts for the purpose of preparation of techno economic feasibility study report for the four-lane /six-lane access controlled greenfield expressway connecting the new capital city of Amaravati with Anantapur with connectivity to Kurnool and Kadapa with straight road alignments, The four-lane/six-lane greenfield expressway with a length of 598 km, to be built at an estimated cost of Rs. 27,600 crore, will connect Amaravati with Anantapur district.
