Telangana Bonalu to be offered to Goddess Durga

Vijayawada: Ummadi Devalaya Uregimpu Committee of Hyderabad will present bonalu and pattu vastralu to Goddess Kanaka Durga here on Sunday.
Ummadi Devalaya Uregimpu Committee members will arrive at Jammichettu Centre at One Town on Sunday at 11 am. Endowments Minister P Manikyala Rao, Durga temple executive officer Surya Kumari and other officials will receive the Bonalu Committee members. They will take out a procession and offer bonalu to Goddess Kanaka Durga on Sunday.
Poturajulu wearing traditional dresses and dance troupes will participate in the procession. Krishna district Joint Collector Gandham Chandrudu in a statement here on Saturday said arrangements have been made to receive the Uregimpu Committee from Hyderabad.
