Darsi: Minister for forests, Environment, Science and Technology Sidda Raghava Rao said that the state government is giving utmost importance to public health and providing corporate level facilities at the general hospitals. The Minister laid the foundation stone for the primary health centre building, which would be constructed at a cost of Rs 1.18 crore at Kurichedu, on Thursday.

Speaking at the public meeting after planting saplings on the premises of the PHC, the Minister said that the government has introduced revolutionary changes in the medical and health sector in the state.

He explained about the facilities being provided by the government like Talli Bidda express, Mahaprasthanam vehicle services and asked the public to utilise them.

The Minister listed various development activities of Rs 1600 crore taken up by him in Darsi Assembly constituency and announced that 40 to 50 km around Donakonda would be developed as a mega industrial hub in future.

He said that various companies are coming forward for investing thousands of crores of rupees in Donakonda and wished the unemployment problem in the area would be solved with the setting up of industries. He said that the government is striving for the development of the state and urged the cooperation of people.
