Amaravati: Indian Ambassador in Mangolia Dr T Suresh Babu met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at Secretariat in Velagapudi on Wednesday and expressed the willingness of Mangolian government to work with Andhra Pradesh in the tourism sector.

While tabling proposals before the Chief Minister, the ambassador to Mangolia sought mutual co-operation in the tourism, mining and cultural exchange.

Suresh Babu said that the Mangolia, with lush green mountains and scenic beauty places, would be most favourable shooting spot for Telugu films and assured of government support for providing all facilities for shootings. While sharing the aspirations of Mangolian people, where 80 per cent of the population practices Buddhism, he said that they are interested to make friendship with Amaravati people, which is the most important spiritual place to them.

The ambassador has also proposed to jointly work in mining field, where there are abundant opportunities. Responding to the request of Suresh Babu, Chief Minister said that he would send EDB team to Mangolia to study on the available resources, where they can mutually co-operate.
