The Met department bulletin said while isolated rain (i.e. covering 25 per cent of the places in the region) occurred over coastal Andhra, dry weather prevailed in Rayalaseema.

According to the forecast, light to moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely to occur at a few/many places in coastal Andhra from September 22 to 26.

In Rayalaseema, there will be isolated rain for the first two days and at a few places subsequently. Increase in rainfall during the next three days is the weather outlook.

The bulletin said the low pressure area over the northern parts of east Madhya Pradesh and its neighbourhood is now seen as a well marked low pressure area over northern parts of central MP. The associated upper air cyclonic circulation extends up to 7.6 km above the mean sea level. The trough from Vidarbha to south Tamil Nadu across Telangana and Rayalaseema is persisting.
