Nakka Anand Babu vows to welfare of tribal people
Minister for Social Welfare and Tribal Welfare Nakka Anand Babu said that the government will implement the suggestions and advices of the Tribal Advisory Council meeting.
Vijayawada: Minister for Social Welfare and Tribal Welfare Nakka Anand Babu said that the government will implement the suggestions and advices of the Tribal Advisory Council meeting.
Addressing a press meet here on Tuesday, he explained details of the 108 Tribal Advisory Council meeting. He said that suggestions given by the members in the meeting will be taken up with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Governor ESL Narasimhan and try to implement it. He said they discussed performance of Girijan Corporation in the meeting.
The Minister said that all the forest products will be purchased through the Girjan Corporation and added that if there is any problems, they will solve it. He said that loans will be sanctioned to the tribals through Tribal Cooperative Finance Corporation for their self-employment.
He said issuing of caste certificates was being delayed to the tribals and assured that he will solve that problem and take steps to check fake caste certificates.
He said that the government will extend necessary cooperation for the development of tribals. He listed welfare schemes being implemented by the government for the welfare of tribals.
