The Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP) will be conducting its annual academic festival from January 31 to February 7, 2018. RSVP Vice-Chancellor (V-C) Prof V Muralidhara Sharma organised a preliminary meeting with Heads of Departments and Co-ordinators in the council hall. It was decided to organise the 12th All India Sanskrit Students\' Talent Festival (AISSTF) from January 31 to February 3.

Tirupati: The Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP) will be conducting its annual academic festival from January 31 to February 7, 2018. RSVP Vice-Chancellor (V-C) Prof V Muralidhara Sharma organised a preliminary meeting with Heads of Departments and Co-ordinators in the council hall. It was decided to organise the 12th All India Sanskrit Students' Talent Festival (AISSTF) from January 31 to February 3.

Around 30 Sanskrit institutions from nook and corner of the country will be participating with a strength of around 400 students. They will be taking part in 18 academic and cultural competitions. Students will be awarded with a cash prize of Rs 2,000, Rs 1,500, Rs 1,000 as first, second and third prizes and consolation prize of Rs 500 in each competition.

The overall top institution will be given a winning rolling shield called “Vijaya Vyjayanthi”. The 21st convocation of the institution will be held on February 5. The annual day will be celebrated on the next day and the hostel day on February 7.

From ‘Vasantapanchami’ which falls on January 22, faculty wise Sastrartha Gosthi (Literary programme in sastras concerned), where all the faculty members are to present a research paper on the topics concerned, will be conducted. In the meeting along with Heads of Departments, the Registrar Prof Ch P Satyanaryana was also present.
