Hyderabad: The highest maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius was recorded in Kurnool on Tuesday, even as dry weather prevailed in Andhra Pradesh.

According to the Met department bulletin, while Nandigama, Anantapur, Kadapa and Nandyal recorded 38 degrees Celsius each, Jangamaheswarapuram and Tuni had a high of 37 degrees Celsius.

The other temperatures recorded in the State were: Vijayawada , Visakhapatnam Airport & Tirupati 36 each, Kakinada , Nellore , Ongole &Arogyavaram 35 each, Kavali& Machilipatnam 34 each, Bapatla&Narsapur 33 each, Kalingapatnam 32, Visakhapatnam 31.

The lowest minimum temperature of 15 degrees Celsius was recorded in Arogyavaram. The other night temperatures in the State were: Anantapur & Kadapa 16 each, Tirupati 17, Bapatla, Jangamaheswarapuram& Nandyal 18 each, Nandigama& Vijayawada 19 each, Kavali& Visakhapatnam Airport 20 each, Kakinada, Kalingapatnam, Machilipatnam, Narsapur& Tuni 21 each, Nellore&Ongol, Kurnool 22 each, Visakhapatnam 25.

According to the forecast, dry weather is very likely to prevail in Andhra Pradesh from March 7 to 10. No large change during the subsequent three days is the weather outlook.
