Use funds judiciously for govt hospital development
East Godavari Collector and Hospital Development Committee (HDC) chairman Karthikeya Mishra has said that Rs 40 lakh was sanctioned for various development works in government headquarters hospital in the city and asked the hospital authorities to avail the funds judiciously.
Rajamahendravaram: East Godavari Collector and Hospital Development Committee (HDC) chairman Karthikeya Mishra has said that Rs 40 lakh was sanctioned for various development works in government headquarters hospital in the city and asked the hospital authorities to avail the funds judiciously.
Reviewing the progress of ongoing works and functioning of hospital with the officials here on Wednesday, Mishra directed the doctors to provide emergency medical aid to patients as necessary equipment was available.
The doctors should not send the patients to government general hospital, Kakinada in the guise of emergency, he added. He directed the hospital authorities to arrange CCTVs in the hospital and construct waiting rooms for doctors and nurses and allot parking place for vehicles.
It is the duty of doctors to prepare reports such as blood, X-ray without any delay, he said and added the HDC would conduct audit relating to quality of development works in the hospital. He directed sub-collector C M Saikanth Varma to prioritise development works and asked the hospital authorities to co-ordinate with him.
