Tirupati: To present an overview about the investment climate in India, particularly in the state, AP government in association with the Indian Embassy in Japan organised an 'Investment Seminar' at JETRO headquarters in Tokyo on Friday.
The event commenced with the welcome address of Director General, Business Development Support, JETRO, Eijl Okada in which opening remarks were given by Deputy Chief of Mission, Indian Embassy Rajkumar Srivastava.
AP Economic Development Board CEO J Krishna Kishore delivered the keynote address and gave a lucid presentation on ease of doing business in AP and highlighted the plethora of financial incentives being offered by government. Senior Vice-President (Marketing), Sri City R Shivasankar gave a presentation on the infrastructure, unique features, brisk pace of development of Sri City.
While listing the specific advantages of investing in Sri City, some of the Japanese companies, including Isuzu, IMOP and Kobelco Group, which have already set up units in Sri City, have testified the business-friendly ambiance prevailing in Sri City.
