Kakinada: The CPM East Godavari unit organised a dharna at district Collectorate in protest against filing of affidavit by BJP in Supreme Court on the promises made to AP at the time of bifurcation of AP.
The party leaders termed the BJP move as biased action against the interests of AP.
Addressing the dharna, the party state committee member Prabhavati said that the BJP should implement all the assurances given in the state bifurcation Act.
The party leaders and activists in large numbers participated.
