Amaravati: AP Chief Electoral Officer's office was opened at the Secretariat in Velagapudi on Monday. From next August onwards, Chief Electoral Officer RP Sisodia will function from from Amaravati.
As the general elections for both Lok Sabha and state Assembly are scheduled to take place within a year, the CEO’s office has been shifted to Amaravati from Hyderabad. The officials from the Chief Electoral Officer formally occupied the office at Room No 192 at block No 5 in the secretariat.
