Ongole: PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences here attained autonomous status, said College Secretary and Correspondent Maddisetty Sridhar.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, he expressed happiness over receiving autonomous status from JNTU-K Registrar Prof VV Subba Rao.
The status will come into effect from the academic year 2018-19.
The college vice-principal appreciated the efforts of teaching and non-teaching staff in attaining the status.
Heads of various departments, training and placement officer and others were present.
