Vijayawada: The physics department of Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala organised various competitions for science students on the occasion of death anniversary of former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on Friday.
Physics HoD Dr Meenakshi said that elocution competition was organised on ‘Achievement of APJ Abdul Kalam in various skills’, paper presentation on ‘Technical developments in this decade’, extempore on ‘Consequences in usage of digital screens (blue light)’ and essay writing on ‘Protecting methods of water resources.’
The winners were given first, second and third prizes by college principal Dr M Nalini. Faculty K Srilakshmi, M Geeta Madhuri and M Swathi were present.
