Padayatra thanking CM for funds release to Peruru project

Anantapur: Minister Paritala Sunitha and her son Paritala Sriram on Monday paid floral tributes to former Minister Paritala Ravindra at Ravindra Ghat in Venkatapuram and undertook a padayatra from the Ravindra Ghat to Peruru Project.
She said that the purpose of the padayatra was to thank Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu who kept his word to revive the Peruru reservoir and released Rs 803.96 crore.
The project irrigates at least 25,000 acres under its ayacut. The people of the region are happy at the prospect of launching project works on the 13th death anniversary of Paritala Ravindra. People of at least nine villages in Madhapuram panchayat besides the Nasanakota panchayat accompanied her in the padayatra.
