Rajamahendravaram: SC/ST Commission Chairman Karem Sivaji has said that Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief Pawan Kalyan is a political ignorant, who now blaming Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
Participating in a Meet the Press programme held at Press Club here on Monday, he said JSP chief Pawan Kalyan needs maturity in politics. Chief Minister is capable of facing any challenge posed by Pawan Kalyan, as he is an able and efficient administrator. ``Many people belonging to Kapu community suffered a lot with Praja Rajyam Party (PRP) which was closed in a sudden move and now Kapu community is not ready to face the same problem,’’ Karem Sivaji said.
He said that YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy also needs much experience in politics, though he is having his coterie. YS Jaganmohan Reddy has been avoiding to attend the Assembly and never discussed about the problems of SC/STs in the floor.
Jagan just wrote a letter to central government requesting it to maintain status quo of SC/ST Atrocities Prevention Act and he is not interested on the welfare of SC/STs. He wants to come to power through his Praja Sankalpa Yatra, Sivaji said.
The opposition parties do not know about personal deposit account and blaming the government. Replying to a question, he said he is ready to contest in the ensuing elections, if the party orders. After assuming charge as SC/ST Commission chairman, 700 SC/ST backlog posts were filled. Directions were issued to follow roaster system relating to promotions, he stated.
