Vasavya Mahila Mandali VMM has completed 50 years and will be celebrating its golden jubilee year
Vijayawada: Vasavya Mahila Mandali (VMM) has completed 50 years and will be celebrating its golden jubilee year.
As part of the celebrations, VMM will be launching a video ‘VMM- 50 years of Success Saga’ on August 12, according to former MP and VMM president Chennupati Vidya here on Friday.
A broacher was released on the occasion. She said that Dr Namita Paritosh Kohok, a cancer survivor, founder and Managing Director of ‘Young Minds’, would be the chief guest of the occasion.
They will be releasing a video presentation and a logo specially designed for the Golden Jubilee year of the VMM.
Chennupati Vidya said that 50 years ago, to serve the downtrodden she started an institution with the inspiration of her father Gora (noted atheist leader) and had spent her teens at Gandhi’s Sewagram Ashram, she added.
