Vijayawada: For the food lovers of Vijayawada and nearby places, Bamboo House Restaurant would bring a wide range of variety of delicious recipes like Bongu Biryani and Bongu Chicken, said Vijayawada East MLA Gadde Rammohana Rao.
He participated as the chief guest at the inaugural of the restaurant here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Rammohana Rao said that Bongu Biryani and Bongu Chicken were available at agency area in the state and now for the first time it was available at Bamboo House Restaurant.
He said that this recipe was good for health when compared to junk food.
The restaurant owner, Uppala Suresh said that Bamboo has very good medicinal values and anything cooked in it will be good for health and even patients suffering from diabetes can eat it.
He said that experienced and trained cooks from agency area were the chefs to prepare this recipe in a traditional way.
He said that healthy country fouls would be cooked and served on tamarind leaves. He said that oil was not used while preparation.
