Amaravati: It would be better if the YSRCP leaders do not attend Assembly Monsoon session, said minister for IT and panchayat raj Nara Lokesh, in an informal chat with media persons here at the Secretariat on Tuesday. He said that the YSRCP leaders had spoken about the problems of people during their entire period in the Assembly. “Their only activity is disturbing and disrupting the proceedings in the House,” he added.

Answering a question, Lokesh said the TDP would contest all the 119 Assembly seats in Telangana where early elections are expected. Significantly, he did not rule out the possibility of striking an alliance with Congress there, by saying that the issue would be decided upon by party politburo, the highest decision making body of the TDP.

He said that the YSRCP leaders were criticising the TDP only for political mileage without knowing the loss it was causing to the state. He explained that though the state government was striving hard to persuade global corporate companies to set up their units in the state, yet some of them were fearing about the unnecessary criticism of YSRCP leaders.

He said that it was nothing but creating hurdles in the development of the state. The minister said that the YSRCP leaders and others were levelling allegations of corruption without showing a single piece of evidence. He said that he had been waiting to see the prima facie evidence to the allegations that they had been making against the government.
