Kakinada: The Kakinada Municipal Corporation authorities, as part of awareness to public on dengue, organised rallies and medical camps on the second consecutive day in the city on Thursday.
Members of women Self-Help Groups (SHG) along with municipal health staff created awareness to locals in Pavlova Peta, Dummulapeta and adjacent areas besides Gaigolupadu, Kotta Kakinada areas in the city.
The SHG women advised people to keep their surroundings clean and avoid water logs in the vicinity.
Municipal Health officer Y Vasanta Kumar supervised the conduct of the rallies and awareness programmers in these areas.
