District Legal Services Authority DLSA secretary VBS Srinivas has said that National Lok Adalat will be held in all 61 courts from 10 am to 5 pm in the district on September 8
Rajamahendravaram: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) secretary VBS Srinivas has said that National Lok Adalat will be held in all 61 courts from 10 am to 5 pm in the district on September 8.
Speaking to reporters at his office here on Friday, he said Lok Adalat would be held with three benches such as district judge bench, sub-judge bench and magistrate bench.
Civil, excise, motor vehicle cases etc would be settled in the Lok Adalat. About 2,000 cases were being settled every two months and appealed to the litigant public to clear their cases through Lok Adalat.
The Lok Adalat was a boon to litigant public. They would save time and money.
The judgement given in Lok Adalat having sanctity on par with judgements given in regular courts, he averred.
He advised the people to put an end to their cases through compromise.
