Guntur: UGC team members Prof Narasimhulu, Acharya Paradesi, Joint Secretary Srinivas on Monday visited Acharya Nagarjuna University and inspected various departments in the university to give Swachhata rank.
He examined whether there is good atmosphere in the university or not and inspected sanitation and greenery in the university.
They inspected facilities in the dining hall and toilets. They also examined drinking water being supplied by the university to the students and the source from where the university is drawing the water.
They inspected vegetable gardens in the university hostel. They inspected rooms in the architecture college and library.
They interacted with the students and questioned the students whether university is supplying quality food or not.
Earlier, university Vice-Chancellor Prof A Rajendra Prasad explained facilities in the university through the power point of presentation.
Prof Rosaiah was also present.
