Vijaya College of Physical Education BPEd, Nunna won the runners trophy in the Krishna University Intercollegiate KRUI Volleyball Tournament held at KVR College at Nandigama in Krishna district
Vijayawada: Vijaya College of Physical Education (BPEd), Nunna won the runners trophy in the Krishna University Intercollegiate (KRUI) Volleyball Tournament held at KVR College at Nandigama in Krishna district.
This tournament was conducted on knockout-cum -league basis and all the four teams won two matches each.
Based on the played sets, PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College stood in first place and Vijaya College secured second place. Last year, Vijaya BPEd College secured third place.
In the concluding function, Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) chairman P Ankamma Chowdary presented winner and runners trophies.
Krishna District Grandhalaya Samithi chairman Bandaru Hanumantha Rao, Krishna University Sports Board secretary Dr N Srinivas and others attended.
