Vijayawada: As part of Swachhate Seva cleanliness drive taken up by the government of Andhra Pradesh, the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation organised Swachete Seva programme at APSRTC Bus Station, Railway Station and Raghavaiah Park on Tuesday. They staff cleared garbage at these places.
RTC MD Nagendra Babu along with other officers and staff participated in the cleanliness drive at the APSRTC bus station complex and cleaned the surroundings.
The NCC cadets of VR Siddhartha Engineering College participated in the Swachhate Seva programme at Vijayawada Railway Station and Ragavaiah Park. They cleared the garbage, leaves, waste pants and cleaned surrounding places.
CMO Dr Arjuna Rao, Assistant health officer Dr S Raju, Iqbal Hussain, sanitary supervisors liason officers and others participated in the cleanliness drive.
