Eluru: Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan alleged that the TDP government has failed to give protection to him inspite of assurances given by the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. As part of his Porata Yatra, he addressed a public meeting at Chintalapudi in West Godavari district on Saturday. He said 30 persons came to attack his camp on Thursday night and not even one police man was present at the time. Pawan Kalyan reiterated that there is a threat to his life.

He said Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh sent him greetings on the occasion of birth day, butare not taking adequate measures to provide security to him. He reminded that drones were used to keep vigil on his home in Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad and TDP government provided security to him with four men then.

The Jana Sena president has asked the TDP to stop criticising and attacking him. He claimed that the TDP is in power today because he supported the TDP in the 2014 Assembly elections. As part of his Porata Yatra, he will be touring the West Godavari district for 10 days, he said. Several hundreds of people attended the public meeting at Chintalapudi on Saturday. He felt educated people should join politics to change and clean the politics in the state. Local people submitted representations to him narrating their problems. District Jana Sena leaders were present at the meeting.
