Kakinada: East Godavari Collector Karthikeya Mishra assured all protection to the US citizens who visit the district. The collector gave assurance to this extent to the US citizen services chief Marisa Ferguson from US consulate Hyderabad when she called on him at the collectorate on Friday.
On the occasion, Marisa said that various company representatives from the US visit East Godavari regularly on oil and natural gas exploration activities and travelling through Madhurapudi Airport in Rajamahendravaram suburbs.
The collector assured the US official that it is the responsibility of district administration to take care of visiting foreign nationals. In this connection Marisa Ferguson said that she was happy with the assurance given by the collector.
Marisa Ferguson requested the collector to extend support to the visiting US citizen Shirin Kondapalli, who was attached to the US citizen services consulate in Hyderabad.
