Chagallu: The Mahasabha of sugarcane farmers will be held here on October 26 and 27.
Addressing the media here, AP sugarcane farmers association vice-president Undavalli Krishna Rao announced that about 200 delegates associated with 23 sugar factories would attend the meet.
The meeting would be attended by All India Sugarcane Farmers assistant secretary D Ravindran, AP farmers association president Y Kesavarao and others.
Rao wanted the government to provide support price of Rs 4,000 per tonne to the produce.
