Tirumala: The versatile artistes hailing from Haryana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra apart from Telugu states have been attracting pilgrims with their variety display of art during vahana sevas in the ongoing Navaratri Brahmotsavams.

On Monday, during Hanumantha Vahana seva, ring dance, Tulu dance, folk art Pillanagrovulu performed by artistes hailing from coastal Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh stood as show stoppers.

Tulu dance is a traditional form of art often performed by the fishermen community of coastal Karnataka. They perform episodes of Ramayana, Mahabharata with the help of this dance and educate rural masses.

While Pillanagrovulu is yet another traditional art form of Ramakuppam of Chittoor district. The pilgrims in the galleries too dance to the tunes of the folklores.
