The District Youth Welfare Department and Society for Training and Employment Promotion organised the districtlevel youth festival at NTR Kalakshetram in Ongole on Saturday
Ongole: The District Youth Welfare Department and Society for Training and Employment Promotion organised the district-level youth festival at NTR Kalakshetram in Ongole on Saturday.
Youth teams and individuals from various places and 14 categories performed at the festival and the officials selected the best performers for the state-level competition.
STEP CEO B Ravi announced that E Nagaraju was selected in flute, S Saidaraju in Mrudangam, TV Padmalatha Varsha in Bharatanatyam, K Neeraja in Kuchipudi, G Sushmitha in Carnatic (vocal), N Srihasa in elocution, A Deepthi in folk song solo, Pravallika in folk dance solo while Anjireddy group was selected in Mono Act play, K Sirisha group in folk dance group categories for the state-level youth festival.
MLA Damacharla Janardhana Rao distributed the prizes, awards and mementoes to the winners .
