The officials of Special Investigation Team rushed to Madhya Pradesh as part of probe into the attack on YSR Congress leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy by a youth in Vizag airport recently.
Based on the phone call data from the accused Srinivas mobile, police officials intensified the investigation into the attack. All the persons with whom Srinivas spoke on phone were being questioned.
The police official Arjun said that notices were served under section 160 on some leaders but no one responded yet. The SIT also submitted a memo before the court in connection with the case.
Srinivas parents were already questioned and a decision on extension of police custody of Srinivas will be taken on November 2 , the official said.
