KBN students excel in karate
The students of KBN College excelled in the National Invitational Karate Championship 2018 and won prizes said the college principal, Dr V Narayana Rao on Thursday
Vijayawada: The students of KBN College excelled in the National Invitational Karate Championship 2018 and won prizes said the college principal, Dr V Narayana Rao on Thursday.
The competition was organised by the Halo Japan Shito Ryu Karate School (AP) at APSP 6th battalion community hall recently.
The principal said that the students of karate coaching institute from the college participated in the championship and won prizes in various categories. The students won six gold, six silver and 16 silver medals.
T Jahnavi, V Srirai, M Saicharan, Pawan Kalyan in Kata category, M Divya, K Pratyusha in Kumite category won gold medals, he added. U Eswar and T Lasya in Kata category, T Lasya, R Hemanth Kumar, M Saicharan, T Jahnavi in Kumite category won silver medals and about 16 players won bronze in other categories, said the principal.
