Bhimavaram: A primary school for boys in Sringavruksham village of Palakoderu mandal is continuing its tradition of imparting patriotism and personality development in students apart from extending regular studies.

The 150-year-old school has about 15 statues of great personalities such as Mahatma Gandhi, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Swamy Vivekananda, Alluri Sitarama Raju, Subhash Chandra Bose, Gurajada Appa Rao and others.

Goddess Saraswati, Gautama Buddha and Jesus statues also erected in the school with their works inscribed on plaque in the bottom of each statue.

The school has classrooms which represent various aspects of world including countries and their highlights, essentials of science and technology and other things.

The teachers are different from those in usual schools, with passion to make their students good citizens of the country.

Not surprisingly, the number of school strength increasing every year. The school is a model to emulate for others with so many specialities, parents opine.
