Madanapalle Institute of Technology Science MITS here has signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU with Providence University, a leading varsity in Taiwan, Dr C Yuvaraj, MITS Principal informed the media on Thursday Both institutions have agreed to cooperate in developing joint research and training programmes for faculty and students
Madanapalle (Chittoor): Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science (MITS) here has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Providence University, a leading varsity in Taiwan, Dr C Yuvaraj, MITS Principal informed the media on Thursday. Both institutions have agreed to cooperate in developing joint research and training programmes for faculty and students.
MITS and Providence University will exchange students and faculty on regular basis. Additionally, the two institutions will cooperate in designing new academic programmes and jointly host international research conferences, seminars and symposia.
This initiative will enable students from MITS to travel to Taiwan and work on research and paid internships. It will also enable MITS students to pursue higher studies in Taiwan with fully funded scholarships. Providence University officials and MITS Dean (Administration) and International Affairs Dr Sremmant Basu and others present.
