Krishna Rao in-charge V-C for AKNU
Krishna University KU vicechancellor Prof S Rama Krishna Rao assumed charge as incharge vicechancellor to Adikavi Nannaya University AKNU here on Saturday evening
Rajamahendravaram: Krishna University (KU) vice-chancellor Prof S Rama Krishna Rao assumed charge as in-charge vice-chancellor to Adikavi Nannaya University (AKNU) here on Saturday evening.
The government appointed him as in-charge vice-chancellor in the place of professor Murru Mutyala Naidu whose three years term was expired on Saturday.
Prof Murru Mutyala Naidu will return to Sri Krishnadevaraya University at Ananthapur, where he had worked as professor.
Meanwhile, KU vice-chancellor Prof S Ramakrishna Rao earlier worked as in-charge vice-chancellor to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Kakinada (JNTU-K) also.
The in-charge V-C Prof S Rama Krishna Rao assured to develop the university during his tenure and thanked Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and HRD Minister Ghanta Rama Rao for appointing him as in-charge V-C.
AKNU registrar Prof S Teki and other staff welcomed the new V-C.
