Vijayawada: A three-day MPL Cricket Tournament would commence from December 7, said Rotary Club Mid-Town president Chinnam Madhubabu here on Wednesday. A poster was released in this regard on the occasion.
Speaking to the media, Madhubabu said that MLP cricket tournament was organised nine times earlier and about 140 club members would participate in the programme. He said that as part of the service activity of the club, the tournament was organised to create awareness on polio.
The fund raised from the three-day tournament would be spent for the polio awareness programme. MPL chairman CR Mohan, club district governor Satish, secretary Sunitha and MPL convener Krishnaprabhu were present.
