​Singarayakonda: The Prakasam district teams for the tennis and volleyball state-level tournament were selected at the Zilla Parishad High School in Woollapalem of Singarayakonda mandal on Wednesday. The school physical director, J Karuna Kumar announced that they have selected juniors and sub juniors teams for the district from more than 60 players from various schools in the district.
He said that the students would participate in the state-level tourney at Palamaner in Chittoor district from December 8 to 10. He said that the students would be provided with facilities with the help of the in-charge head master K Sambasiva Rao, who appreciated the players, PETs and the PDs for the training and performance.
