Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana said that the state government is providing new electricity connection along with a fan and a LED bulb to beneficiaries of 35,000 houses under Housing for All and also NTR Housing schemes
Nellore: Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana said that the state government is providing new electricity connection along with a fan and a LED bulb to beneficiaries of 35,000 houses under Housing for All and also NTR Housing schemes.
He visited Mahabub Khan Park in the city on Friday and said they allocated Rs 200 crore for all parks in 110 municipalities across the state from Critical Infrastructure Investment Plan (CIIP) and AMRUT schemes.
The Minister also said that the development activities have been yielding good results across the state. He said people have been getting a sigh of relief with the developed parks and other recreation activities.
Narayana explained that they are setting up open gymnasiums in some parks for convenience of the people. ‘Development of parks is going on in the district. We have completed laying of 100 kilometres of roads out of 450 kilometres in the city which were damaged due to ongoing underground drainage system.
“We would complete construction of all roads in the city by March 2019,’ said the Minister. Former legislator M Sridhara Krishna Reddy, Municipal Corporation SE Raju, Corporators Rajesh, Satyanarayana and others were present.
